These are the Lahori Fried Fish Recipe served in the streets of Pakistan. They are crispy and light on the outside, and flavour and spicy on the inside. They are delicious when you have them in a street restaurant.
Lahori fried fish are deep-fried crisp fish fritters. They have spices in the batter and are deep-fried. They are sold in the market.
Lahori Fried Fish Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 3 pieces whole fish clean and wash and dry
- Half a bunch of spring onion
- 3 green chilis
- 3 tbsp dill ( soya leaves )
- 3 tbsp coriander leaves
- half onion
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- salt to taste
- oil for frying
INSTRUCTIONS
- First, clean the fish wash, and dry them.
- In a grinder add spring onion, green chilis, onion, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, cumin, and coriander powder, salt adds little water, and grind all ingredients.
- Make a smooth paste.
- In a large mixing bowl add whole fish and pour all paste on the fish. mix very well.
- Marination time for 20 min.
- After 20 min in a pan add oil for shallow fry.
- On each side fry for 6 to 7 min.
- Serve with salad or green chitni
