INGREDIENTS
- 300 g Spinach cut into finely chopped
- 1 large potato cut into cubes
- 2 medium tomatoes cut into chopped
- 6 whole garlic cut into chopped
- 6 whole dry red chilis
- 1 1/2 tsp whole cumin seeds
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 cup oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large saucepan. Add 1/4 cup oil, once the oil is hot. Add chopped garlic, whole dry red chilis, and whole cumin seeds. fry for just 2 min until golden colour.
- Now add potato cubes, mix and fry for 2 min.
- Add chopped tomatoes and mix well. Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder, salt. mix and saute for 2 min.
- Add 1/2 cup water and cook just 12 min until the potato half has done.
- Now add chopped spinach and cover up just 7 to 8 min, medium flame.
- Now Gujarati Spinach Bhaji Recipe is ready to eat with tandoori naan, bread, and chapati.
