Afghan Grilled Lamb Chops Recipe is The cuisine of the Pashtun people covered in Peshawar cuisine and also like Lahore or Karachi Simple ingredients and spices add in lamb. Use lamb fat to make lamb kebab soft and juicy.
How Do You Tenderize Mutton Chops?
I am using papaya paste to help mutton or lamb tenderize. And at last 12 hours for marination time. It helps to make lamb or mutton soft and juicy.
Afghan Grilled Lamb Chops Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 3 KG lamb chops or mutton chops
- 2 large onion sliced
- 2 tbsp green chili paste
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 3 to 4 tbsp papaya paste
- 4 tbsp thick yogurt
- Salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large mixing bowl. Add 2 large onion sliced, 2 tbsp green chili paste, 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 3 to 4 tbsp papaya paste, 4 tbsp thick yogurt, salt to taste mix well.
- Marination overnight or 24 hours.
- The next day I make charcoal hot grilled. And add one by one-pieces laying.
- Each side 7 to 8 min cooked, then flip another side 7 to 8 min.
- Both side lamb chops golden color.
- Serve with green chatni and tandoori naan.
COOKING TIPS:
- At last 12 hours for marination time.
- Not overcooked
