Mutton Biryani Recipe

Biryani is a South Asian one-pot dish in which lamb, mutton, beef, chicken, seafood, and veg biryani. Mutton Biryani Recipe is one of my favorite biryani. I teach you a simple easy way to make.

Ingredients

  • 700 g mutton cut into pieces
  • 1 Onions chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes Chopped
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp all spice powder ( garam masala powder )
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic past
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 cup fried onion
  • 1 cup oil or ghee
  • 1/4 tsp yellow food color
  • 4 cups long grain basmati rice ( wash and soak in water about 40 min before.

Instructions

  • First marination: In a bowl add mutton piece, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, all spice powder, yogurt, chopped tomatoes, and chopped onion mix well. Rest for at least 2 hours.
  • 4 cups basmati rice soak in water for 40 min before.
  • In a presser cooker add all marination mutton and add 1 cup of water. cook until meat is tender.
  • In a large pan add water to boiling rice add 1 tbsp of salt in water. Drain and set aside.
  • Add all cooked mutton in a large pan, and sprinkle 1 cup of fried onion. now add all pre-boiled rice. add 1/2 cup ghee or oil on top.
  • Simmer 10 to 12 min.
  • Ready to serve with salad.
