Ingredients

For Dosa Batter

  • 2 cups rice wash and soak
  • 1 cups white lentil ( urad dal ) wash and soak
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

Mash Potato For Filling:

  • 4 medium potatoes wash and boiled
  • 8 or 10 fresh curry leaves
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 8 dry red chilis
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste

Coconut Chutney - Sauce

  • 1 cup dried coconut powder
  • 3 fresh green chilis
  • 2 tbsp dry peanuts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Half bunch coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 8 fresh curry leaves
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • Half cup lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • First rice and lentil wash and soak 6 hours.
  • In a blender make paste rice and lentil, add as require water make a right constantly paste.
  • Now add salt to taste.
  • Mix very well.

Make A Dosa

  • In a flat pan add a little bit of oil, just 4 to 5 drops.
  • Add 4 tbsp dosa butter and spread all over the pan. Make a round circle.
  • Just 2 to 3 min turn another sidelight golden crispy dosa is ready.

How To Serve Dosa:

  • In a large plate put a dosa and in the center add mash potato, And roll it.
  • Serve with coconut chutney.

Potato Filling Recipe:

  • 4 medium-size potatoes peel, wash and cut. Add water to boil for 15 min. Until potatoes a tender.
  • Now strain all water and mash all potatoes. Keep it aside.

Make A Tarka Recipe:

  • In a pan add oil, once the oil hot add mustard seeds, turmeric powder, curry leaves, and dry red chilis. 
  • Fry until light golden color and smokey flavor.
  • Now add all Tarka in the potatoes mixture add salt to taste. Mix very well altogether.

Coconut Chutney Recipe:

  • In a blender add 1 cup dry coconut powder, 2 cloves garlic, 2 tbsp dry peanuts, 3 fresh green chilies, half a bunch of coriander leaves, salt to taste, 1/2 cup lemon juice, and add 1 glass of water.
  • Now blend 3 to 4 min, make a smooth paste. 

Make A Tarka:

  • In a pan add 1/4 cup oil. Once oil hot add whole cumin seeds and fresh curry leaves. 
  • Once cumin and curry leave a light golden color.
  • Add all Tarka on coconut chutney, mix very well. Tasty coconut chutney is ready to serve.
