Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken wash - dry and deep cuts
  • 1 cup thick yogurt
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 /1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp orange food color
  • Half lemon juice
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl add whole chicken, yogurt, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp turmeric powder, 1 /1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp orange food color, Half lemon juice. Mix very well.
  • Marination time 6 hours.
  • In an instant pot pressure cooker add a steel rack inside and on a top marinated chicken place in. 
  • Add 1 cup water to the cooker for steaming. Cooking time 12 min.
  • After steamed another dip wok add oil for deep frying.
  • Once the oil is hot add whole chicken carefully and fry until golden color.
  • Ready to serve with salad, naan, tandoori naan.
