Chicken Kofta Curry Recipe

The Chicken Kofta Curry Recipe could be a flavor-packed chicken curry simmered in an exceeding tomato makhani gravy and simmered with chicken kofta balls

Many various versions to create the kofta curry however we’ve got created it by exploiting easy spices and recent herbs during this one-pot curry.

The preparation of the spice mixture together with onions and tomato is what makes this curry special and provides further style to the curry.

Chicken Kofta Curry Recipe

CHICKEN MEATBALLS INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Kg Chicken breasts, minced
  • 1 tsp green chilis paste
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Raw papaya paste
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp thick yogurt
  • 1 tbsp butter or ghee
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste

FOR GRAVY:

  • 2 medium onion paste
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • Mix whole spices ( cinnamon stick, 2 black cardamons, 2 green cardamons, 10 whole black pepper, 1 bay leaf, 4 cloves.
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • salt to taste
  • Fresh chopped coriander leaf.
  • 2 to 3 green chilis

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large mixing bowl add all ingredients

  • 1 Kg Chicken breasts, minced
  • 1 tsp green chilis paste
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Raw papaya paste
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp thick yogurt
  • 1 tbsp butter or ghee
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste

Mix very well altogether, Make medium size chicken balls.

  • Ready For Gravy:

  • Add 1/2 cup of oil in a pan and onion paste saute for 2 to 3 min.
  • Now add ginger garlic paste mix and saute.
  • Now add a little bit of water mix.
  • Times to add all spices powder ( red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt to taste.
  • Saute all masala for 2 to 3 min, Now add 1/2 cup yogurt and mix well.
  • Add all chicken balls highly mix add 1 cup hot water.
  • Simmer medium to low heat for 12 min.
  • After 12 min Chicken Kofta Curry Recipe is ready.
  • Add fresh chopped coriander leaf and green chili.
