Aloo Gobi Recipe is a conventional dish wherein potatoes (aloo) and cauliflower (gobi) are cooked in an onion-tomato masala (or essentially, curry).

Aloo Gobi Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Whole cauliflower cut into pieces
- 1 large potato cut into pieces
- 1 tsp dry crushed red chili
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp coriander and cumin powder
- 1 tomato cut into sliced
- 4 green chilis
- fresh dill chopped
- salt to taste
- 1/2 cup mustard oil or cooking oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a pan add cauliflower and potato, and dry crushed red chili, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander, and cumin powder.
- Add half a cup of water and cook for 10 min low flame.
- Cauliflower and potato when soft, add oil in this stage and mix very well. Now add sliced tomato and green chilis, and black pepper powder.
- Mix well all together and simmer for 5 to 6 min.
- Garnish fresh chopped dill.
